What you need to know about claims

How do I make a claim?

To lodge a claim with Travelsure please follow these simple steps.

1. Download a claim form:

Claim Form A (pdf)

For claims relating to medical, additional expenses and cancellation.

Claim Form B (pdf)
For claims relating to luggage, rental car insurance excess and money.

2. Add supporting documentation
The claim form lists supporting documentation relevant to your claim (e.g. receipts) that we'd like to see.

3. Make a copy
Whilst we require you to send originals to us, we recommend that you keep copies of everything just in case.

4. Send it in:

How long will it take?

We will settle or respond to your claim within 10 working days from the time we receive it.

It is important that you report lost or stolen property to the police or relevant transport provider and obtain a written report.  You must also call our emergency assistance team as soon as physically possible if you are admitted to a hospital or if you believe that your medical or related expenses will exceed $4000NZD.
